Cryolipolysis/Fat Freeze

Reminisce Clinic is one of the only places in the North West where you’re able to make use of Cryolipolysis – an increasingly popular treatment across Lancashire and the UK. This treatment consists of freezing fat cells in a specific area of the body.By nature, fat cells have a very weak structure and fail to survive at the temperature manufactured in this treatment. As a result, these fat cells die and exit the body through the lymphatic system – the system that works to remove toxins from the body.

As a direct result of the treatment, fat in the target area is reduced which gives you a much healthier and toned appearance. Cryolipolysis is predominantly utilised in areas where fat is particularly hard to remove through lifestyle or exercise e.g. the chin, stomach, and back.

Unlike our competitors, our treatment cup covers 360 degrees of the cup area – not just the sides.

For us, it’s vital that we understand your own goals. Once you have undergone a full consultation, we can begin to plan your Cryolipolysis treatment. These treatment sessions take approximately 1 hour, during which a cooling gel pad is applied to the target areas. When our vacuum applicator draws in the fat, you may begin to feel a cooling sensation, but this is perfectly normal and just part of the fat freezing procedure.

The temperature on the targeted area will gradually fall to -7 to -8 degrees Celsius which causes the fat cells to freeze. During the treatment, you can keep yourself busy with our offered entertainment or if you’d prefer, we’ll make you a brew – don’t be afraid to ask!

After the treatment, a practitioner will remove the gel pad and massage the affected layer of fat back into shape. Clients should expect only a small discomfort during the session however, depending on how sensitive your skin is some people experience temporary bruising after the procedure but this is totally normal.

How long does it take?

The Cryolipolysis procedure lasts no longer than one hour, so you can quickly continue your daily routine.

*Results may vary. Reminisce Clinic cannot guarantee specific results.

How many Cryolipolysis sessions will it take?

The number of sessions needed is totally dependent on your aims. A large number of people will immediately benefit from just one session, however you may require a larger number of treatments dependent on the size of the area and the number of areas being treated. When you come into our Leyland clinic for your consultation, our staff will assess your personal circumstances and advise on the treatment course to maximise your results in line with your personal aims.

And how soon will I see results?

This depends on the individual, the density of the fat in the targeted area and the size of the treated areas(s). Changes take place over a few weeks, but most clients see palpable results within as little as 12 weeks. After six months, it is unlikely you will see any further results.

In clinical trials, 9 out of 10 people saw noticeable results in the treated area(s).

How to track your process:

Stop weighing yourself daily
Daily weight fluctuations do not provide an accurate picture of your fat loss. Weigh yourself once every two weeks and make a note of the result.

Stop looking in the mirror
Self-image issue can skew perception. Take photographs every two weeks and compare them against each other.

Track body fat
Get a fat calliper and track your progress every two weeks.

Take measurements
Take girth measurements of treated areas such as arms, waist and thighs.

“After my treatment, my skin has gradually shifted back closer to where it used to be, and I didn’t have to go under the knife.”
